Elisa Pålsson
Råå, Sweden & Elche, Spain
"I paint in acrylic. Often my motifs are flowers in the dark. In the light they become clearer and more beautiful, just like in life. Those who love you in need. Every leaf and flower is a nerve of my story."

Flowers are my most common motif. When I started painting, I was inspired by old baroque paintings with their dramatic color scales. I connect flowers to my own femininity and how it takes shape in different moods.

After an inspiring trip to Sicily, I started painting environments and moods taken from the place.

Inspiration of my grandfather artist Sixto Marco, Elche Spain. surreal story about my identity.
